This 14-week, online program offers a unique, interactive approach to screenwriting for feature film writers of all levels. Your script material will be reviewed and critiqued on a one-to-one-basis by our experienced faculty of story editors, all industry professionals. At the same time, you will be mentored and learn to refine your craft by participating in our online workshops and discussions led by an accomplished industry professional. The course is divided into two-week blocks with each block focusing on a specific aspect of screenwriting: concept, plot, structure, conflict, character development, tone, pacing and dialogue. We encourage all participants to take part in the course work but the emphasis will always be on your own writing.
The program is customized to address the strengths and shortcomings of individual scripts. You will work on your script material at your own pace and be individually assessed on your individual ability to handle the major elements of screenwriting.
